Profile
Blackhorse Park is a 20 acre property on gently undulating pasture in the prestigious Booroolite Valley, scattered with age-old European oaks, elms, poplars and pin oaks backing on to Mansfield State Forest. The accommodation allows you four varied options – the 1850’s Blackhorse Park homestead, Elm Cottage, converted stables (Pin Oak Chapel) and an original 1850’s outhouse (Pioneer Hut) all having been extensively renovated to restore their rich history.
Wander the property, sit by the dam, sip on a glass of your favourite wine, read a book or just relax and enjoy the picturesque landscape.
Blackhorse Park’s idyllic central location is just twenty minutes to Mt Buller, ten minutes to Goughs Bay, fifteen minutes to the Mansfield township, fifteen minutes to Macs Cove, Howqua Inlet and Jamieson.
If you would like to bring your horse and ride the vast expanses of the Great Victorian High Country, it is on your doorstep. With endless tracks to ride, you will be amazed at the breathtaking scenery and awesome riding rails. Your horse can stay for free, or if you are unable to bring one, a local horse and guides can be arranged for you.
